Circadian Contraptions Day 120
I’ve tried to work on drawing from vision today. I’ve got this perfume bottle that has a “leather” cover on one side, and glass on the other. I’ve tried to draw it, but I’m not too happy with the results. I don’t know how to make it better without starting over, i might try that … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 119
Today’s contraption was made with an app called Craze on Android, and some after effects with photoshop. It’s a fun tool and its rather easy to get some amazing effects.
Circadian Contraptions Day 118
As a proper nerd I have a lot of props lying around, not just at home, but also a few at work to brighten up my desk. For example a “snow”globe of sauron’s eye. The picture was originally taken for the red feather sticking so nicely from the deathtroopers helmet, but the globe gave me … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 117
On my way to my training today I was station Utrecht. Whilst there I saw what I imagined to be a very crappy job indeed. It was raining rather badly, and this guy was out there washing the windows of this enormous station, from the outside, in the rain. Even though he will never find … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 116
I’ve been messing a bit with music today, of a sort. A small little bit of music that keeps repeating, and it reminds me of a timed puzzle game, where the music is trying to spur you on. http://onlinesequencer.net/425190
Circadian Contraptions Day 115
Shadows are fun to play with. And with the stuff I recently learned, you can do so much more with shadows that on the original are barely even there.
Circadian Contraptions Day 114
When I went to Amsterdam on Saturday for the audition, I decided to walk from the station to the studio. Amsterdam has some pretty darn nice buildings, and at times its like you’re walking a bit through the past. That inspired me to make the picture of one of those building look a lot more … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 113
It’s late and on a black leather couch a white kitten was sleeping peacefully. not for long though, for no matter how stealthily i got up to take a picture, she still woke up. Still, it made for a pretty picture to manipulate.
Circadian Contraptions Day 112
In the same curiosity box that Inq came in, i got a batch of hydrophobic sand. Which is sand that will not get wet. I made a picture of a drop of water “floating” on top of that sand. I’ve started editing it without a goal, and just see where I ended up, it turned … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 111
Once again my stuffed animals are seeing a bit more of the world than my room. Inq is a stuffed animal I got from the #vsauce their curiosity box. But a squid does not belong in a living room, but in the sea, so that’s where she took a trip to.
