Circadian Contraptions Day 208
After a few days of fretting about my lost webpage I’m back on track (and my page is working properly again). I’ve continued on the flourishes for the project i’m working on. I’ve decided to go with the dark leaves as the image becomes stronger, even though it looses some detail in the leaves itself.
Circadian Contraptions Day 207
I’ve been working on the Victorian flourishes today, and the result has been added to the laces. On a whole i like most of it, but for now they lack consistency. The left really needs more attention, but I’m going to need to sleep on it, because after three redo’s it only got worse. So … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 206
Flowers are always fun to work with. The colors can be gorgeous and are nice to enhance. In this case i also added my logo to the background, trying to get it to look like an actual part of it. It’s not quite the same consistency as the rest, but enough that one would not … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 205
As I mentioned yesterday I’ve got something of an idea in mind for which i needed a few elements. The rose, which is not final yet is one of them. Today’s piece of the puzzle are the laces. They are not super detailed but they are clear drawn and I’m rather happy with them.
Circadian Contraptions Day 204
I have an idea in mind for something to design. But to make that I first need to learn a couple more things to draw. Laces, Victorian patterns and a nice red rose that is in full bloom. Today was dedicated to learning how to draw a rose. I’m not happy with it yet, so … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 203
Today’s another goth party at eden. My contraption for today is henceforth the corresponding poster that i made for it.
Circadian Contraptions Day 202
Nightmare fuel. There’s not much that can describe this contraption better than these two words. pix2pix set up an awesome but horrifying tool where your line drawings get converted into “realistic” faces. I use the term realistic very freely here, I am aware of this. The picture shown here is a combination of 3 line … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 201
A while ago I showed a pictured of colored gel balls in a glass. Over the last few weeks, they have dried out a bit, but interestingly enough, not all dry out at the same tempo. Due to contact with the others, lower in the glass, more moist available there, the top dried faster and … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 200
Today’s contraption is not much to see I’m afraid. I’ve been trying to print with nylon for a while now and finally made some progress. At a temperature of 245 degrees, a heatbed at 60 degrees and the strongest hairspray i could find, it finally stuck. Unfortunatly, Nylon is very sensitive to humidity and will … Continue reading
Circadian Contraptions Day 199
The clearing two streets behind where I live always has bunnies sitting around. You can’t get real close, but i usually snap picture when i have the time. This time one sat relatively close when i took the picture. So today’s contraption is an edit of that picture I snapped.
