Skillup: Laser cutting 101

I’ve recently gotten my hands on a lasercutter, and I’m having a ton of fun with it. As I’m being creative again, I decided to start sharing my works here once more. Not all the designs will be done by me. I will always always tell what parts are homemade and what isn’t. That being … Continue reading »

Circadian Contraption 221

So as you probably noticed, these arent daily anymore. The last few weeks I was doing nothing new, and wasnt motivated anymore. So the circadian (daily) part of it has kinda dropped off, but I’ll still add my art and contraptions here when I got them. Now recently I’ve been busy writing a lot about a … Continue reading »

Circadian Contraptions Day 210

So almost each day me and a couple of coworkers have a toolbox meeting. We gather around the toolbox (trashcan) and have some fruit whilst chatting about whatever. Sometimes fruit doesnt get eaten and a nice collection has grown from these meetings. Very much like a still life. So with moving the pear slightly i … Continue reading »

Circadian Contraptions Day 209

Ghost, my cat, is always a willing victim for my contraptions. She just sits there being pretty and lets me take nice pictures. She’s also a perfect subject to do black and white pictures with.

Circadian Contraptions Day 208

I’ve received my new Blue Yeti microphone today, and it has a rather interesting design. It made me think of spaceships, so I decided to send it to space.

Circadian Contraptions Day 208

After a few days of fretting about my lost webpage I’m back on track (and my page is working properly again). I’ve continued on the flourishes for the project i’m working on. I’ve decided to go with the dark leaves as the image becomes stronger, even though it looses some detail in the leaves itself.

Circadian Contraptions Day 207

I’ve been working on the Victorian flourishes today, and the result has been added to the laces. On a whole i like most of it, but for now they lack consistency. The left really needs more attention, but I’m going to need to sleep on it, because after three redo’s it only got worse. So … Continue reading »

Circadian Contraptions Day 206

Flowers are always fun to work with. The colors can be gorgeous and are nice to enhance. In this case i also added my logo to the background, trying to get it to look like an actual part of it. It’s not quite the same consistency as the rest, but enough that one would not … Continue reading »

Circadian Contraptions Day 205

As I mentioned yesterday I’ve got something of an idea in mind for which i needed a few elements. The rose, which is not final yet is one of them. Today’s piece of the puzzle are the laces. They are not super detailed but they are clear drawn and I’m rather happy with them.

Circadian Contraptions Day 204

I have an idea in mind for something to design. But to make that I first need to learn a couple more things to draw. Laces, Victorian patterns and a nice red rose that is in full bloom. Today was dedicated to learning how to draw a rose. I’m not happy with it yet, so … Continue reading »
