As I’ve shown last week I need to work on eyes. Not so much the quality of the eyes, but just to make a matching set. Today I’ve worked on that a bit. I’ve tried some eyes of different shapes and levels of detail, from rather complex to pretty darn simplistic. Just by putting down some help lines for upper and lower edge, and knowing that there should be the width of an eye in between the eyes, the result is already much better than what i achieved before. Not perfect, but much much better

Circadian Contraptions Day 91
Circadian Contraptions Day 90
Continuing with yesterdays theme, I made a gear in illustrator, textured it and added some life to it, and then used the same technique as i did yesterday to etch the letters into the copper gear. Finally i added some other gears (not home made) for the background to not be static white. The idea of the partial gear with my name on it comes from another logo idea, if you look at the partial gear it resembles an A shape.
Circadian Contraptions Day 89
When I was looking for something to do for today i ran into a tutorial that made text seem like it was etched out of wood. I rather liked the effect of it, so set out to make something similar myself.
Circadian Contraptions Day 88
The crazy 88. It wasn’t intentional but this here kitten did become part of the crazy 88 due to her eyes. Uneven, wrong tilt.. i dunno, i always have problems with getting 2 similar eyes but meh.. i guess thats yet another thing to practice on.
Circadian Contraptions Day 87
A while ago I’ve drawn an ear. Although it was pretty good, the style i didnt care much for, and it needed some work. This here is another attempt. It’s not quite up to par with the lips and eye yet, but it’s a lot better than the other one i think. More natural, less stylized. For comparison, the 1st attempt can be found here
Circadian Contraptions, Day 86
In the wake of the rose DMCA thing, I thought it’d be fun fun to do something more with illustrator black/white art. Why i drew an evil wizard? I dunno, but he did turn out pretty wicked.

Circadian Contraptions Day 85
After a long hiatus DJ Dana is back to DJing at Eden. Having her and her set in mind, i made a simple little thing for her. The DJ Dana text has actual fur (no animals were harmed during the making of this picture), and the back on track is actually following a path i drew out, which was new for me.
Circadian Contraptions Day 84
Remember the little lonely bear, sitting in a corner, or staring through the bars into freedom? She escaped, she fashioned a basket out of the bars, and made a balloon out of her linnen bedsheets, and is now on her way to freedom!
Circadian Contraptions Day 83
Another in my photo’s of toys in odd places. The little bear went from a very lonely spot to being confined behind bars. But do not fret, I have a happy ending for her in mind.

As a followup of my voice acting training I’ve been working on both my accent and and on my audio editing skills.
So here are 5 audio files for your enjoyment.
