Circadian Contraptions Day 156

And for my second contraption I have remade something I made ages ago when I played the Matrix Online. It’s astonishing how much one forgets in the span of 10 years, I had to do quite a bit of research to get this to work again, but here it is. This little page/script tries to be a catchall for the most used codes, being a Caesarian shift (shift 1: a becomes b, shift 2, a becomes c, etc), same with reversed and finally a base64 decryption and encryption. Play with it yourself at http://www.rosered.org/Decode

Circadian Contraptions 155

Yesterday was a slacker day where I totally forgot to make a contraption, so today you’ll get a double shot again. I’ve been working with my 3d-pen to see if i could make a bit more complex wireframes. It’s still relatively simpel, but here’s the first contraption of today.

Circadian Contraptions Day 154

In a followup on the bucket I placed on my coworkers desk recently, I decided i wanted to mess with scale a bit. So I took a cup and mulitplied it, one tiny, one huge. This is where I realized that even though the cup comes from that image, scaling it will mess up the perspective. As one is higher and the other lower, the rim of the cup will be “rounder” and “flatter”. I tried to simulate this by distorting it, but I couldn’t go further than I have because the distortion would become too noticeable.

Circadian Contraptions Day 153

What is Abbot without Costello? What is Tom without Jerry? What is Laurel without Hardy? Not half as fun as they are together I say. Hence my contraption of today, Dexters counterpart, Deedee!

Circadian Contraptions Day 152

Back to the old drawing board again. Kind of a fitting remark to go with this little boy genius. Turned out pretty much exactly as planned.

Circadian Contraptions Day 151

A while ago I went to a burlesque party where I took this picture. The picture in itself wasnt that special, except for that somewhat primary color scheme that it had, red, blue and green. With a little bit of editing I think I made it pop even more, and made it more interesting

Circadian Contraptions Day 150

It’s been a while since I did some actual drawing so here’s me going back to it. It’s the first time i actually used the artists glove I bought a few weeks back, which is a glove that covers just the pinky and the bit of your hand that normally smudges the paper. I’ve already noticed how much less unintended smudging is now happening! The drawing itself is unfortunately a bit out of proportion, but I think she’s still recognizable as Kim Possible.

Circadian Contraptions Day 149

I’ve done the colorized item on a black and white background before, but today I’ve decided to switch it around, and make the object of our attention the monochromatic component of the composition.

Circadian Contraptions Day 148

There’s been some discussion recently about flat earthers, and what the end of the world would look like. I took a shot at what such would look like.

Circadian Contraptions Day 147

I started out with my 3d pen making a bicycle. After having some experience with the pen, I was wondering what a new bicycle would look like. So of course i drew an older one. I rather like the old style bike, and think the idea came across well. The only thing i’m really not happy with are the pedals, the are too low compared to the center of the wheel and too thin.
